Assesment

Marin School of the Arts (MSA), located at Novato High School, is a regional public high school for the performing arts. MSA is open to students within the Novato Unified School District as well as from other districts around the Bay Area.

MSA offers a program where talented and motivated arts students can work and study in a creative, collaborative environment with a variety of opportunities for personal growth, academic challenge, and career development.

Our Mission is to:

• Provide all students with both a challenging academic and arts education program.
• Provide a place for talented and creative students to develop their talents.
• Offer students in-depth sequential programs in Creative Writing, Dance,
   Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Drama, Musical Theater, Video and Film,
   and Visual Arts.
• Provide students from Marin County and beyond with a comprehensive arts high
   school available.
• Offer students academic and emotional support so that they all may succeed.
• Provide career training, counseling, and real world experiences in all the arts.
